GRASPING BULLYING ABUSE

WHAT IS BULLYING ABUSE?

Bullying abuse is the harassment of a victim(s), perceived as weak by an abuser(s).

WHAT IS BULLYING ABUSE?

Bullying abuse can take three basic forms:

Physical: The causing of harm to another person’s body by the bully’s violent act of aggression.

Emotional: The causing of damage to a person’s self-worth, via persistent name calling by the bully.

Social: When someone’s group acceptance is damaged by the bully, via spreading negative rumors, to the point of group exclusion in part or in whole.

Note: When any or all of the three forms of the above bullying abuse forms are practiced on line, they are referred to as cyber-bullying. This is the type of bullying most associated with teen suicide.
